Law in India is still taking its final shape, and there are many areas that need strong implementation but are lacking, such as cyber law and IT law. This means that not only is there a lot of scope for lawyers in India, but it is only going to increase in the coming years. The two types of courses available are the LLB and the BA-LLB (Hons.), depending on whether you are a graduate or want to pursue law straight after class 12. The LLB is a three-year degree, while the other one happens to be of five years.

In order to become a law graduate, you can apply to any of the national institutes offering a course in law.
